New Contract Information

We may spend a lot of time fighting each other and promoting feuds for entertainment purposes, but at our core High Octane Wrestling is a family. As such, we try to accommodate each member as fairly as possible. Below is our general stance on contract signings of new HOW members. Keep in mind this is just our general stance, exceptions could be made for extenuating circumstances. Also below are just guidelines for new wrestler contracts. As a member is on the roster over time their loyalty and contributions will absolutely be noticed and contracts will be offered accordingly.

Guaranteed Appearances
Standard contract length is set at 3 appearances. With a grand total of 48 roster spots available, and 160 appearances possible in a season, only few people will be able to have 4 guaranteed appearances. No roster member will be given a 4 appearance guarantee in their first season with HOW, though if the roster runs short on guaranteed appearances an active member can have their contract renewed mid-season.

Contract Level
Higher end contracts are generally reserved for players of higher levels and HOW staff members, or players with exceptionally high popularity/entrances. As contract levels payout in percentages of ticket sales, players who have high popularity, thus bring in more fans to the show, as well as those who contribute to the presentation of the show, will receive favorable contracts.

Merchandise
Merchandise is a delicate balancing act as we realize higher level players use it as a major component of their income. However, merchandise can also be a considerable income boost to the federation, allowing for more rapid expansion of our arena facilities and promotion. The standard starting percentage offered to prospective wrestlers is 30%.
