Jack Legacy Addresses SD Coleman

The camera fades in from black to see Samantha Bloom standing with Jack Legacy.

Samantha: "I am here with new High Octane Wrestling addition, Jack Legacy. Jack, what are your thoughts since arriving here at H.O.W?"

Jack Legacy looks at Samantha and lowers his head towards the microphone to speak.

Legacy: "Samantha, it feels excellent to be employed here, at H.O.W.

"It feels good to continue building my LEGACY, on top of that MOUTAIN!

"It feels wonderful, to walk out there in front of all my fans. My admirers. My...Legacies? ...Legacites? You know, I'm still thinking of what my fans should call themselves, but they are TRUE BELIEVERS."

Samantha Bloom brings the mic back to her and diligently continues on, ever the reporter.

Samantha: "Do you know who your first match on H.O.W. is going to be against."

Legacy politely takes the microphone from Samantha and looks at her, while shaking his head.

Legacy: "I haven't been told about who I will be facing.

"But I've been watching the monitors.

"I've seen the faces, some familiar some new.

"And as I was watching, I saw the familiar visages of SD Coleman and Wheeler gracing the screen."

Jack Legacy turns and looks into the camera. His expression turns hard.

Legacy: "SD Coleman, you and I have a short history. I have respected you, and I consider you a friend.

"We have a lot in common:

"You are adored by thousands of fans.

"Thousands of fans have heard of me.

"You held a championship in MWF.

"And I was MWF's only WLC holder.

"You are charismatic and smart.

"And I......"

Jack's brow furrows, and he looks down for a second.

Legacy: "Well, I'm working on that. I have always held you in the highest of esteem.

"And then you pulled out that Championship belt that you won in another company.

"And you announced your intention to go after more gold here.

"And at once, my heart was filled with feelings of elation, and sorrow.

"Elation because as I watched you there, speaking great words and great thoughts, I recognized I was watching one of the BEST in the BUSINESS."

Jacks expression grows mournful.

Legacy: "And then came the sorrow. Sorrow came with the realization. My realization.

"I realized you got what I can't have.

"I realized that you are pursuing what I desire.

"I realized that to attain my DREAMS, to CLIMB my MOUNTAIN. To BE the LITTLE ENGINE THAT COULD...."

Jack Legacy whispers: "I think I can, I think I can, I think I can,"

He then returns to facing the camera and raises his voice.

Legacy: "I realized that if I was going to get what I want,

"if I was going to BUILD MY LEGACY,

"if I was going to plant the SEEDS OF VICTORY in my GARDEN,

"and CLIMB that GOLDEN PATH to the HIGHEST HEIGHTS..."

Jacks voice grows quieter.

Legacy: "Then I realized that the path to personal full-fillment leads right through the spot where you and Wheeler are standing.

"And that saddens me.

"That depresses me.

"Because you are a friend SD.

"You always had my back.

"And now, I see us on a collision course, like two trains on the same track in a really bad movie.

"And there are no happy endings.

"One of us, will leave disappointed.

"One of us will leave un-full-filled.

"So I want to right here and now, ask your forgiveness.

"For what I am about to do.

"For what the future is about to reveal,

"And for the pain you are about to endure.

"And in return, I forgive YOU, for the pain you are about to cause me,

"The humiliation I am about to endure,

"And the blood I am about to spill."

Jack turns to look at the ground. His eyes reveal that his thoughts are turned in-ward. He flips the microphone to Samantha, and starts to wander off. He can be heard quietly muttering to himself as the camera follows him:

Legacy: "I think I can, I think I can, I think I can..."

Samantha stairs after him dumbfounded. After a minute of dead air, she brings the microphone back up and stammers:

Samantha: "B..ba..back to you Josh and Mark."

**OOC: This was VERY difficult and I am unsure if I pulled it off. Trying to start a face vs. face feud without sounding like a heel. I walked a fine line here and I'm hoping I did not cross over it. However, I DID have a lot of fun doing this promo, so maybe a heel turn is somewhere in Jack Legacy's future, but certainly not after 0 weeks in my current fed and 8 weeks of fed work overall. **

It's definitely very workable, face/face is one of the hardest to make work but you're definitely working it well to start. Inserted for 4/10/12 Overdrive
