Coleman and Legacy Post-Match

(Coleman and Legacy are exhausted after their effort in the match. The two men help each other get back to their feet to the cheers of the crowd. Cael Wheeler enters the ring with a microphone and helps support Coleman and Legacy, as the crowd keeps on cheering.)

Wheeler: Truly the best in the...

(Wheeler is distracted by some movement and looks up the ramp to see Christina Chase.)

Chase: Oh, bravo. Bravo. Not exactly what I was expecting from two misfits who go around calling themselves the BEST IN THE WORLD, but it was good. I guess.

(Chase makes her way down to the ring and climbs in, all while being abused by the fans.)

Chase: Of course, it's nothing I haven't seen before, and better, from most members of the HOW roster.

Wheeler: Just what match were you watching?

Chase: Ah, Cael Wheeler. I see that almost being fired for insubordination has done nothing to teach you RESPECT. As for you two, the fans do seem to like you, for whatever reason.

(The fans begin chanting "S. D. C!" or "Legacy!")

Chase: Now, Jack, you have said that the winner of this match will have all kinds of doors open. That may be true. And Stewart, you have said that this match will be ratings dynamite. And I find that surprising, because I agree with you completely.

(The fans begin to cheer again.)

Chase: However, I don't think that either of you are ready to go head-to-head with any member of my HOW roster.

(And just as quickly the fans are booing again.)

Chase: And then I thought that if you are such ratings dynamite, why don't you prove it? And prove yourselves to me at the same time. So I have decided that this match was match number one...of a Best of Seven series! I hope that you enjoyed the match, because you're going to see these two again and again until one of these men can win four matches!

(The fans are excited and cheer loudly.)

Coleman: I have no problem with that. I don't think Jack does either.

Legacy: None whatsoever. But what do we get if we win?

Chase: Excuse me?

Legacy: WHAT DO WE GET IF WE WIN?

Chase: You get the satisfaction of a job well done. You get the adoration of your fans.

Legacy: Not what I meant.

Coleman: Jack's right! Whoever wins deserves a TITLE SHOT!

(The fans cheer even louder at the thought of Coleman or Legacy as champion.)

Coleman: We're here on Overdrive, aren't we? I think that whoever wins deserves a shot at the Overdrive Champion. That means, right now, that the winner gets JACQUES LACROIX! Unless you don't think the Frenchise can handle US?

Chase: I'm not going to commit to any of that! Just remember who's in charge here! You need to prove that you belong here in the HOW, and this series is the only way that's going to happen. Prove that you belong, or you won't get a shot at the Overdrive Championship or ANY TITLE in the HOW!

(The fans boo Chase as she leaves the ring and walks back up the ramp. Coleman, Wheeler, and Legacy continue to stand in the ring to the cheers of the crowd. Coleman offers Legacy his hand, and Legacy accepts it. The three climb out of the ring and walk up the ramp together.)
